Frequently Asked Questions

The Portal is your company’s Volunteering Program social network. It shows you the program news and you can interact with all the other volunteers.

You can engage in actions promoted by the company, partners and even by other volunteers, in addition to posting photos, testimonials and action results. It’s an environment both to inspire and to be inspired!

Very cool, isn’t it? So, how about being a part of this goodwill network?

1) How do I register for the Portal?

Just click on "Enter" in the upper right-hand corner of the website, click on "Create an account" and then fill in your data.

Ready! You will receive an email with a link where you will be able to access and browse through the Portal.


2) Well, I did not receive the portal access email. What should I do?

Take a look at your e-mail’s Spam box. If you have not received it yet, enter the Portal again, click on "Enter" and then on "Access without Password".  Enter your registered email and click on “Send” to receive a portal access token. 

If you still do not receive this e-mail, contact us at Contact Us and we'll help you find out what happened.


3) Ok, I have just registered on the site and I want to know the actions. Where do I start?

In the homepage, you will find highlighted actions on the cards. You can scroll and carry more actions until you find one that interests you. You can also use our location and SDG filters to find an action that fits your profile. In addition, when you browse through the top menu you can also find actions divided by themes.

See what's happening, and if you do not have any action going on right now, take the time to motivate your colleagues to do one more! To be inspired, you can also see past actions and check what has already been done.


4) I want to participate in an action that I saw on the Portal. How should I do?

Just go to the action you want to participate in and click on "I want to participate". Simple as that!


5) How do I post photos within the action?

In order to post a photo in the action, you must:

1. Access the page of the action you are participating in;

2. Click on the "Photos and Documents" tab;

3. Click on "Photos" (upload icon, cloud with an arrow pointing upward);

4. Select the file (s) you want to upload *;

5. Write a caption for the photo (if desired);

6. Click on "Finish".

* Extensions supported: JPG, JPEG, GIF or PNG. Maximum of 10MB per photo.


6) How do I delete/edit a photo or caption uploaded by mistake?

In order to edit or delete a photo in the action, you must:

1. Access the page of the action you are participating in

2. Click on the "Photos and Documents" tab

3. Click on "Edit / Delete"

4. In order to delete the photo, click on the trash icon and confirm by clicking on "OK"

5. In order to edit the caption, click on the text box and write your new message and confirm by clicking on "Finish"


7) And after the action is completed, do I have to do anything?

Only the Action Leader can post the action results in the Portal. Therefore, if you’re not the Leader, you can’t enter this data.

If you are the Leader, you should:

1. Access the page of your action in the Portal

2. Click on the "Results" tab

3. Click on the "Enter / Edit Results" option and enter the partial results. In order to save them, click on "Save Result".

4. If, instead of that, you want to make the final report and close the action, click on "End Action" and enter the final data. In this case, the action will appear as ended.

5. When you select the "End Action" button, the results will be accounted and your action will appear as done, so new people can’t sign up for it*

* Important: When an action is marked as "Ended", you can only change its results if you reopen it.  This can only happen if the Theme is still open.  After the Theme is marked as "Ended”, an action can no longer be either reopened or changed.


8) How do I delete an action?

In order to delete an action you must:

1. Access the page of the action you lead *;

2. Click on "Edit" in the Manage Action menu;

3. Click on the “Trash” icon and confirm that you want to delete the action.

* Only the Action Leader can delete it.

Important: If the action was deleted by mistake, it can’t be recovered and you will have to register it again.


9) Can I choose someone to be the Action Leader with me?

This will depend on the rules of the Theme where your action is registered. If there is such possibility, just follow the step by step below:

1. Access the page of the action you lead *;

2. Click on "Manage Participants" in the Manage Action menu;

3. Click on one of the participants listed, or search for the participant you want by using the search box.

4. When you select the person you can choose whether to include him or her in the action either as Leader or as a Participant.

* Only the leader can include other Action Leaders.


10) How do I include someone in an action I lead?

This will also depend on the rules of the Theme where your action is registered. If there is such possibility, just follow the step by step below:

1. Access the page of the action you lead *;

2. Click on "Manage Participants" in the Manage Action menu;

3. Click on one of the participants listed, or search for the participant you want by using the search box.

4. When you select the person you can choose whether to include him or her in the action either as Leader or as a Participant.

* Only the leader can include other participants in the action.

 

11) How to stop participating in an action?

In order to unsubscribe from an action you must:

1. Access the page of the action from which you want to exit;

2. Click on the "Enrolled" button;

3. Confirm that you want to stop attending and the button will show "I Want to Participate!" again, which confirms that you are no longer enrolled in that action.


12) How can I rejoin after deleting myself by mistake from an action?

If you have done the action by mistake, just click on the "I Want to Participate!" button. It will now show "Subscribed" and you will return to the action group.

 

13) How do I find content inside the Portal?

Need to find something within the Portal? A friend, a specific action or news? Then use the search tool.

Click on the magnifying glass located at the top right-hand corner of the website and then type what you are looking for.

The Portal will bring you everything that exists within the website related to the word you are looking for. The most relevant results will be sorted by: Actions, Volunteers, Documents, Pages and News, but if what you are looking for is not in this initial suggestion list, you can still click View All in the category of your interest and see more results.

 

14) I forgot my password, now what?

No worries!  You may access without a password.

If you are on the login screen with password, click on “Forgot or don’t have a password? Log in without password.” or click on “Access without password” at the login main page.

You will receive an email with a portal access token.

If you can’t find the message in your inbox, please check either the Spam or the Trash Box


15) How do I register or change my password?

1. Click on "Edit Profile"

2. Click on "My Password"

3. Enter new password

4. Click on the "Save" button


16) How do I change/add my e-mail?

1. Click on "Edit Profile"

2. Click on "My credentials"

3. Click on “New E-mail”

4. Enter your new e-mail in the field "E-mail" and “Confirm E-mail”

5. Then click on the "Save" button

6. A confirmation will be sent to the new e-mail

7. Click on the link sent in order to access the portal

8. Ready! From now on, you will be able to access the portal using both e-mails

Important: The notifications from the portal will be sent to the e-mail tagged as “Main E-mail” 


17) How do I change my profile photo?

1. Click on "Edit Profile"

2. Click on "My Profile Photo"

3. Upload the photo you choose

4. Centralize as you wish

5. Click on the "Save" button


18) How do I change my name?

1. Click on "Edit Profile"

2. Click on "My General Data"

3. Change the "First Name" and / or "Last Name" fields:

4. Click on the "Save" button

 

19) How do I change my location?

1. Click on "Edit Profile";

2. Click on "My General Data"

3. Change the "City" field

4. Click on the "Save" button

 

20) How do I change my description?

1. Click on "Edit Profile"

2. Click on "My General Data"

3. Change the "Description" field

4. Click on the "Save" button


21) How to choose or edit the SDG that interests me?

1. Click on "Edit Profile"

2. Click on "My SDG"

3. Click on all the goals that interest you. There is no minimum number and the maximum number is the total of options of objectives exposed in the platform.

4. Click on the "Save" button

Whenever you want to add or remove a goal, simply repeat the procedure and click on "Save" at the end of the process.


22) How to find friends in the Portal?

In order to find friends, click on the magnifying glass at the top right-hand corner of the website and type the name you are looking for, or click on "My friends" in the right menu that opens when you click on your profile photo.


23) How do I invite friends and family?

1) When you login to the website, click on your user that appears at the top right-hand corner and choose from the menu the option "Invite to Network"

2) On the next screen, enter the e-mail(s) of the person(s) you want to invite, separated by commas


Ready! The person will receive an invitation by e-mail in order to register. Once registered, the person will receive a confirmation e-mail with the access link to the portal. After clicking on the link, you will already be participating in our network. Oh, and you also receive an e-mail informing that your guest has accepted the invite.


So all your friends who always wanted to contribute to transform the world will be part of this movement!
